The project cycle "Museum Talks" has started

On October 31, the Chernivtsi Museum of the History and Culture of Bukovinian Jews hosted the first meeting of the Museum Talks series within the House of Memory project. The event was attended by researchers, teachers, mass media representatives, cultural managers, representatives of Chernivtsi museums, the State Archives of the Chernivtsi Region, national cultural societies, the Jewish community, and others.

The keynote speakers at the meeting were Mykola Kushnir, historian, director of the Chernivtsi Museum of the History and Culture of Bukovinian Jews, and Oleksandr Fylypchuk, historian, researcher, Assistant Professor of the Department of History of Ukraine at Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University.

The topic of the discussion was "Jewish Narrative in the History of Bukovina: Between Misunderstanding and Deliberate Ignoring".
